In 1988, Doug was too nervous to ask Melissa to marry him, so he asked her to start a business with him instead! They began their small company in Doug's parents' garage. Since then, their company has experienced tremendous growth, been able to move into a real office and is well-known for its high-quality toys for children of all ages.
