At this B&B, the bed was comfy … but the breakfast made a good morning great. The Inns at Blackberry Common greet each morning with locally roasted coffee and a bountiful breakfast prepared with fresh herbs and berries picked from the garden. Guests can rise and shine in one of the inns’ 18 rooms peppered throughout the property’s two buildings: the 1849 Victorian-style Blackberry building with Carriage House and the 1806 Elms building next door. And after such a filling wake-up call, it’s easy to whisk around the nearby harbor or toast to a sweet stay in the perennial gardens surrounding the inn.
